Just curious what others are seeing for life on the slim alternator belt. It sucks when it starts to wear or twists as the prop needs to be pulled. The new belt alignment is critical or the belt shreds and you start the process all over again.

My trend looking back since 2007 -2012 5 years, 2012-2014- 2 years, 2014 - current (4 years). Belt looks really good on inspection.

Do you change every few years? Change only when inspection deems it?
