Should you install a new 406 ELT?

The older ELTs in our aircraft are no longer monitored. If an aircraft goes down in a remote area there is a good chance the aircraft would not be found. So should we change to the new 406 MHZ ELT for safety?

AOPA Article is very interesting since they are against changing all those old ELT's out there?!?
