I saw another thread previously about Piper Service Spares Letter SSL 242, where someone was asking where to find it. The thread appeared to die without anyone ever coming up with an answer. I want to increase my baggage weight in my Cherokee from 125 to 200 lbs. My manual says my plane is eligible with that service spares letter, but I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else done this? Is there a GVW increase with that letter or just an allowance to change the placard and operate legally with that much weight in the cargo compartment? Thanks.
