It’s almost time for my AD 2013-02-13 Stabilator Control System Inspection on my Arrow. I decided to go ahead and start looking at things and think I’ve found a serious issue. It looks like two of the four turnbuckles have no safety wires. I’ve attached two photos, one of a turnbuckle that is safety wired and one that isn’t. I’m no mechanic but this definitely looks wrong. On the one that isn’t safety wired I can twist the turnbuckle easily. Can someone familiar with this please comment?
Thanks,
Alan
