1982 Seneca III, no accumulators. Air-starting per the POH seems to take a really long time holding the starter, I'm guessing this is normal but would take any tips/tricks ahead of my checkride.

POH says to start with the mixture rich and fuel pump on, any chance I'm flooding it and should be doing something different?
