I live in Florida and am a bit confused on how I am supposed to pay sales tax on my recent airplane purchase. The FAA has already transferred registration to me. I would assume I would get a letter or something from the state requesting payment and giving me instructions for making that payment. So far, I have received nothing.

Does anyone know how this works? I've been holding the money aside for this purpose and don't want to get hosed with penalties down the road.

Thanks.
