RPM Limitations

Hi All,

I need to replace my tach. The old tach has a red arc between 2000-2350 RPMs. I can not substantiate this red arc with any tech data. Can anyone help me out on this?

Aircraft: 1966 Piper PA30 Twin Comanche, Miller Turbo 200
Engines: Lycoming IO-360-C1F
Props: Hartzell HC C2YK-2CUF
