Dear all,

After 87 hours of trouble-free maintenance I finally got a little kick from the beloved Aztec.

The left propeller cable was found frozen, we disconnected the governor, used all kind of penetrating oil using a motorcycle gizmo to push it down and the net result is that the cable failed somewhere (it now moves freely at the throttle quadrant but the governor side is still frozen).

Anyways, the part is on order and a local mechanic is going to assist me in replacing the cable, but before we enter a world of pain are there any tips that we should know?

Thanks!

William
