While working on my airplane today, a young man I did not know stopped at the hangar. I had the cowling off and as he looked at the plane he started asking questions. Normally I have no problem answering questions like is this your airplane and what are you doing. I explained that I was doing an annual inspection. But some questions I couldn’t answer. How tight do you make the exhaust? Will it run if you leave a plug out? How ‘bout four? Do low wings do better flat spins? I finally told him that Cessnas where best for flat spins. You turn them upside down.
