I am flying a 235 Pathfinder as my first foray into airplane ownership. My instructor initially had me do all of my landings with two flaps. The procedure was one flap abeam the numbers, one on base, and then we pitch for 70kts on final approach. Last week he introduced me to three flap landings introducing the last flap on final. I much prefer landing with three flaps and I assume its due to the sight picture I was accustomed to in the 172 trainer I flew. We are still approaching at 70kts.

He has instructed me to use only two flaps in any crosswind 5kts or more otherwise use three if that's what I prefer. I just wanted some opinions from other Piper pilots. My instructor is a 20k hour pilot but virtually all of his hours are in 182s and in a Thrush firefighting plane. He is an excellent teacher but he has less than 200 hours in Pipers.
