I am thinking of replacing my gyro AI with a electronic model. Thinking the quattro 340. Someday I want to put an Aspen in. but have a couple questions.
First question sense I believe aspens have a battery backup do you still need backup? Or is this in case its not a electrically failure but a failure of the display is self?
So lets says I have a quatto 340 and then a aspen. Could I remove the factory airspeed, vertical speed and altitude, sense Altitude and airspeed would be displayed twice, and VS I am pretty sure is not a primary instrument but would be displayed on the aspen.
