I just bought into a 1967 Cherokee 140 so all this is new to me. As the look of the plane is fairly weathered. We want to try and make it look a little nicer. The prop is not painted, except for the tips, which have some faded paint stripes. The aluminum has oxidized. Would it hurt to polish the prop up. I used some aluminum polish on it in a small area to see if you would help and it did. I just wanted to be sure that it was okay to do so. Also, what about getting some aircraft prop paint and redo the tips. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
