Portable device for ADS-B in/out in UK

Interesting that the CAA (the United Kingdom's equivalent of the FAA) has authorised a portable device for ADS-B out. The authorisation is VFR-only, but still, that's a lot more flexibility than we're seeing from the FAA (or, likely, from the TCCA in Canada).
