I like my PA-28-161 a lot. But I am starting to look for more speed and useful load. I gave up on an Archer, lot of money for little more performance. Next on the list is a PA-28-235. I would like to know all I can as it has all the useful load that I could ever want, and more speed. I am guessing that fuel burn is prodigious. I would like some real world performance numbers. Is the Lyc O-540 a good engine? You all know the drill.

Thank you
