Ok so I know that theirs a fair amount of documentation with regards to adding vg's to Aztecs
however
I've heard 2 different outcomes, micro aerodynamics claims "no loss in cruise speed" however I have seen on google that some aztec owners have experienced a loss in cruise speed
Im trying to find out what is the correct answer, has anyone on the forum had an aztec pre vg's then installed them and seen any difference in their cruise speeds?
Im ok if I loose 1 or 2 mph but some people have indicated its between 5 and 8 mph... on a different forum
my particular aztec stalls at 76mph (vs) 70mph (vso) and I have noticed that numbers are higher than some earlier models and some later models, I am hoping to reduce the stall, micro aerodynamics claims a 9mph decrease so that would put me around 61mph (vso) and 67mph (vs), this in turn would help reduce my approach speed (1.3 x vso) from around 91mph to 80mph...

thoughts
thanks everyone
Eric
