After having my old #2 VHF KX-125 die and doing a cost/benefit analysis I decided to not buy a used replacement because they were in the area of $1500, it was better to be spent on a new radio.
Went with the PAR200B by PS Engineering. This will give me the Bluetooth capability as well which is a nice feature.
Searching this forum it seems there are not many of these out there. If anyone who has one, comments and information is appreciated. For my avionics setup this will be a big plus not having to reach across to the far right side of the panel to change frequencies. Making it worse I have the MX155 radio as well that works fine but takes a tap on the touch screen turn of the knob, then push of the knob button then turn of the knob then a tap of the screen again to change frequency. Challenging in any turbulence.
