Our Lance goes in for an avionics upgrade on Monday. This is the "before" picture. I'll try to get an in-progress shot and then post the final result after it's all done.

The new panel will have an Aspen PFD Pro, GTN-650, PMA-8000BT, KT-74, and a Flightstream 210. The ADF and its indicator will be gone. Old VOR indicator will be gone, and the engine monitor will move from lower right to take its place. I'm keeping the KCS-55A HSI in the spot currently occupied by VSI. Vacuum-driven AI will move to where the ADF indicator was on lower left. The old GPS annunciators, stby vac switch (and pump) will be removed. I'm keeping the vac AI for now because replacing it with an electronic backup would necessitate a converter for the autopilot, plus the cost of the digital AI. I may consider a Quattro when the old vac unit finally gives up the ghost, but not worth the added cost at the moment.

The Flightstream 210 will be for syncing flight plans between Foreflight and the GTN-650. Anyone have experience doing that since it became possible over the summer?View attachment ImageUploadedByPiper Forum1447561758.434777.jpg
