I have a 66 Cherokee PA28-180. I've added the Garmin GTN 650, which is amazing, but that is the only thing I can see when I fly at night. My gauges are extremely hard to see. I was in a friend's Bonanza and he has the NuLite guage lighting in his, which is awesome. I called my mechanic this morning to get a price and he put the bug in my ear to check out the Luminescent Light Strips as an alternative to the individual guage light rings. I'm concerned about the light strip because I'm not positive it will give me the full view of the guages I need to see at night in IFR conditions. Has anybody had any experience with the light strip? What are your thoughts? Would the light rings be the best way to go?
Thanks for the advice!
