Quick question to get some opinions. Backstory first 😁:

A few weeks ago I performed a run up. The R position resulted in a mag drop of 200. L was normal at 45-50. I went back to BOTH, then back to R. Normal 45-50 RPM drop. I performed the above steps two more times and nothing was out of the normal. I got back to my home airport (flew fine on the 1 hour trip home) and had my mechanic look at it. He couldn’t find anything wrong. I’ve since had my mechanic perform a timing adjustment, mixture adjustment, and balance (.6 off?) the propeller. During the propeller balancing he noticed at 1000 RPM there seems to be a mis/weird feeling periodically. Run up checks are good. He replaced 4 plugs, we replaced the ignition leads, compression test reports in the 70’s. The plane definitely flies smoother, feels a little stronger, it’s just at 1000 RPM, we have that weird mis-issue (or so we think)…

Any ideas or areas to look into?
