Been flying my plane for a couple months now. Oil temps are always around 180-190. Today I flew an hour or two and then went to pick up passengers. Plane was parked maybe 5-10 minutes outside. on takeoff roll oil temp was 200. If never seen it before so I aborted. Temp got to 203 or 205 on taxi roll out. It's probably overly cautious and maybe ridiculous but I had little ones in the plane. oaT today is 35-37 as the JpI 830 reads. Just wondering if people normally see oil temps 200-205 on a hot day. I know it's in the green range but I had never seen my oil temps that high. I'm letting the plane cool down in the hangar and will run it up again to see what happens....
