I am a new private pilot and also a new aircraft owner. I purtchased a Cherokee 6 260 that came with Narco radios. The secondary radios are Narco 12's and they have been disconnected by the folks who did the last annual. A fellow pilot gave me (yes for free) a KX170 radio. My question is what kind of expense am I looking at to get those swapped out? Is this a huge deal and should I expect a high labor estimate or is this something that can be done by a avionics shop for "aviation cheap" prices. Not looking for an exact $ amount. More a possible range so I may know what to put aside for the near future. Thanks.
