I recently installed a GNC355 and finally had a chance today to put it through its paces.

There seems to be an issue with the Comm and was wondering if there's anyone on here who might have experienced the same thing.

Coming into the airport at 10 miles out at 6k feet, I made my call but the tower couldn't hear me. I made my call again and he said I was "weak and unreadable, if you intend to land, ident"

Now, understand, I could hear him loud and clear.

At 5 miles out, he could hear me fine and I landed uneventfully.

Thoughts?
