Hello everyone. I am normally in the Cherokee Owners group as I own a 63 Cherokee 160. Looking at stepping up to an Arrow. I am a 200+ hour PP and am a quarter of the way finished with my instrument rating. I have no logged retract time so far. A 69 Arrow PA-28r-200 has just become available at the airport where I am based It has just under 5k TTAF and 1875 SMOH on the IO-360-C1C engine. It has 3 blade prop, Appolo 150 GPS and an old transponder. It has an STEC 50 AP and a strikefinder scope in it. I know it flies fairly regularly and has oil changes every 25 hours. He is stepping up to an F-33 Bonanza on the field, so I know why it is being sold. He is asking 42k for it. One is that a fair price for what is listed and will the IO-360 comfortably go past TBO if cared for or should I factor in an engine in a year or so I fly 100 to 125 hours a year. It is due for annual in November. I have looked at the plane before, but not in enough detail like a buyer would. A pre-purchase is definitely on the to do list. Just want a few opinions. Thanks
