Well I made a purchase at air venture to install a engine monitor in my cherokee 180. I got the jpi edm 830. Fits in a 3.125 instrument hole but the thing is rectangular. I have my lower left hand hole available, next to the turn cordinator.

If I mount it in that hole with the rectangle going up and down I think it will fit but I wondering how to cut the plastic bezel piece so it will look decent. I'm thinking if I mount it going vertical in the whole I have avaliable it will cover up part of the smaller hole where a wind up clock came originally.

I'm not worried about it structurally fitting. Just how to make the plastic pieced look decent cause a large rectangle will have to be cut into it.

Thanks for any advice I may receive.
