I've found an Archer that fits the bill for me. IFR, Garmin 430W, 496, with Auto pilot 8 on the exterior 8 on the interior.

My concern before even talking numbers is the engine. 4300TT ~2350 SMOH, but 400 STOH and 1600 since case rework (new bearings, CAM, gaskets, etc). Compression 76,76,78,74

My thought is the motor needs to go and I should factor this into the price. Thoughts on usefulness of existing motor?

This is my first go at this, so any input or advice is appreciated. Yes I'd do a pre-buy inspection if i can get this that far.

Thanks,

Roger
