I have a Navajo Chieftain with a emergency fuel pump potential problem. I noticed on the last flight that when I turn the emergency fuel pump on that it pegs the fuel pressure gage and if your at idle it wants to kill the engine. doesn't make any difference at say 1500 rpm. Has anyone had a problem like this, and would it be the pump its self or a relief valve somewhere? I will be taking it in to have it looked at, but wondering if anyone knows what it would be? Thanks
