I did a search- I swear I remember a thread about this recently but cannot seem to find it. If anyone can point me in the direction of it that would be great.

My nav light breaker keeps popping after about 2 seconds of nav lights being switched on with the dimmer switch. I reset it a few times while on the ground and same same. Before I take it in, can I do a little troubleshooting myself? What should we be looking for? It doesn't Seem to matter if engine is started or not.

Thanks!

Edit:forgot to mention it's a 1973 Cherokee challenger.
