Good morning everyone -

I'm working on my instrument rating in my modestly equipped Warrior and I've recently experience some erratic behavior out of my Narco NAV122 - but only on the glideslope side - the localizer/VOR/lateral navigation indicator seems to work just fine, along with the marker lights and audio. The glideslope however, seems to have poor reception. It won't pick up the glideslope when I should definitely have intercept but will almost always pick it up when I'm going missed - close in and above the glideslope.

I figured I would check connections before sending it to the avionics shop, but don't know if it has a separate antenna. I have two antennas on the bottom that I don't know what they are for - one long, thin, blade-like and antenna with no markings and one large, rectangular (roughly 5"x7"), flat antenna. I also understand there could be a splitter in the wiring somewhere as well.

Anyone who could tell me what to look for, I would greatly appreciate it!
