narco radio

I have a Narco MK 12d nav/com that is not transmitting. The nav radio works and it will receive just fine. I need to upgrade my panel but for now I am looking for a quick solution to this problem. I fly two or three times a week. Does anyone know a good place to send it off to be repaired or should I just buy a re-man radio (same radio so it fits right in the tray)? Is there anyone out there that swaps etc....? I am new at this so any solution would help. I don't want to throw good money after bad but timing is an issue. This winter when I have some time and the plane is down for annual I will upgrade some things but for now I need a quick solution. Thanks.
