Just saw this NOTAM:

180162 CYND OTTAWA/GATINEAU CYND WEF 2018 MAY 07 0000 AMEND PUB: 3U NDB DECOMOMMISSIONED

I can't count the number of times I've done holds and approaches around that NDB for my initial IFR training and IPCs, or used it for navigation up to Maniwaki, or just tuned it in to watch the needle swing as I fly past on the Ottawa River. It's almost like loosing a friend.
