I was harvesting some parts from a similar-vintage Cherokee 140 at a local parts yard, and noticed that it had front air vents which came out at about chest height, rather than my lovely floor vents (which do a great job of keeping the backs of my knees ventilated) (it's a 160c).

Now I also saw that this Cherokee had cabin vent doors in the mid-front, a-la-Cessna cabin vent doors. That said, is there any reliable way to reroute wing-based cabin air inlets to a more functional and useful height?
