I recently purchased a 1957 Apache with the Horner/Metco tip tanks. I was wondering if there was anyone out there in Piper land that may have the same tip tanks on their Apache or Aztec and most importantly the AFM supplement and possible installation information? If there is someone, I would love to get a copy for my records.

Thanks Phil,
My tanks were installed in 1968. My understanding is that there were three versions of the fuel cap. One set of tip tanks had the filler port raised, used a vented cap that was an off the shelf automotive fuel cap. I think I have the second version. My fill port is flush with the tip tank, and my cap looks similar to a Cherokee cap (a bit smaller though) and is vented. Any idea what gaskets are used for the older style of cap? I grabbed a Cherokee seal and it is too large. I am also a A&P, IA.
Thanks,
Mike
