My panel is very nicely lit at night with a variety of direct and indirect lights. But the switch panel remained a black hole. Figured out a simple fix ...

We ran a single EL strip along the panel, in behind the plastic overlay, and put some reflective tape on the inside surface of the overlay. Presto, works great!
