Hi guys,

So in the next week im going to leave my Aztec in sarasota avionics to do the attached panel below.

Do you guys have any tips or lessons you want to share to make sure the install is and foes as best as possible??

so far for the aspen ive found the following from the beechtalk forum:

Follow the installation manual. Use the exact supplies as required in the manual, double shielded wires and overbraid where required. Use a good quality circuit breaker switch, not a separate breaker and switch. It goes on the main bus. No shortcuts. New wiring for all nav radios into the ACU. Do not reuse old wiring. At all costs do not use disconnect plugs unless penetrating a bulkhead.

Have the installer complete the job with a fully detailed and compiant ICA (instructions for continued airworthiness). Detailed wiring routing and interconnect diagrams and configuration charts.

DO NOT USE A LOW BIDDER INSTALLER, you will pay for it in bugs, trouble, failures, and rework later.

Do not hesitate to contact aspen field support, they are a great help.
