When at high density altitude airport:

1- Startup, 1200 RPM reduce mixture 1 inch
2- Run up, 2000 RPM (power setting for checks mags, etc.) reduce mixture until engines runs rough then increase mixture (engine run smooth) add an additional increase of mixture 1/2 inch. Continue runup mag. check etc.
3- Cruising 5K reduce mixture until engine runs rough then increase mixture (engine run smooth) add an additional increase of mixture 1/2 inch.

*On the runup should I use 2000 RPM (power setting for checks mags, etc.) or should I use full power when leaning the mixture?

Please let me know what you think. Thank you.
