After looking through some stuff on the web I think that the TKM MX-170B should be able to just slide into the rack/connector of my KX-170B and be completely compatible as far as all wiring and connectors goes. Or am I wrong??? The nav on my old KX-170B quit working, can't even pick up an identifier but the com works fine. I got my hands on a MX-170B so I could just slide it in to see if the issue is in the box or the indicator but when I slide in the MX-170B it's completely dead, com don't even work. I'm thinking the MX-170B is not working as it should either. Any thoughts? I've got a KI-214 connected to this unit.
Thanks!!
