I thought the group would enjoy seeing the video about Reid-Hillview Airport.
The Board of Supervisors are hellbent to close the airport and have already voted to do so. They will wait out the FAA grants expiration, and the users of the airport are valiantly working to provide opposition to the closure. Considering that San Jose is the only other airport in Santa Clara County, it seems impractical to close it, and for what? Condominiums?

The Supervisors moaned about lead --- so they passed an ordinance allowing only unleaded fuel could be sold at Reid-Hillview, and the pilots got behind this so the argument about belcj=hing lead over the community was extinguished. Yet the Supervisors have not relented. The lead supervisor is timed out come the end of this year and has taken a job in Albuquerque so she will be gone soon.

Have a watch of the video ....
