Has anyone heard or have seen the software upgrade to turn a KLN90 into a KLN90A IFR enroute capable GPS?

I have the KLN90, which is VFR only:confused:. To my understanding, it can be converted to a KLN-90A with a software upgrade and a TSO antenna (and of course a 337 and flight tests blah blah). Seems like a "cheap" fix for IFR direct enroute capability.

As of now I file /A and note "gps on board" in the RMKS section. Once I get established and in radar I usually ask for a vector direct....and its always a good vector:grin:. It would be nice to just file /G

Thanks

J
