ok I bet this has been talked over before but a quick search did not turn up anything. I would like to install a JPI EDM 350 into my Cherokee 140 as a back up to all current gauges and labeled on the unit as backup. I do not want to remove any factory sensors or gauges, Total package is less then 2 lbs. I have an existing hole it would fit in nicely, what kind of sign off would be needed to use this equipment in the plane. Could it not qualify as NORSEE and signed off with a minor alteration for a few holes needed for the probs? Let me know your thoughts....
