With the new plane and avionics upgrade, I am full of questions. Had a JPI 830 and a GTN 650 installed and they seem to not be playing with each other 100%. It seems that the data is going to the 650 just fine, as it displays the OAT, FF, Fuel used, and Fuel remaining on the flight planning calculation page from the 830. However the 830 doesn't seem to be getting the GPS data back from the GTN as the fuel required at waypoint/destination is X'd out. Is this a settings issue on the inputs somewhere perhaps that was missed on the install? They are clearly talking with each other I think, just not optimally? I will contact the avionics shop that did the 650 install and see if they have seen this before, but thought I would question the folks on here who may have seen this also.
