I did a top overhaul 2 years ago and 205 hours have passed. My oil consumption suddenly increased. I had my mechanic do a compression test. All cylinders but one where at 80/80 the other one was at 78/80. Only 11 hours since oil change. The next day we cut open the filter and found no metal. Did a cold compression check and you could hear air escaping through cylinder #2 through the breather. Oil is also turning darker quicker. Seems to indicate oil ring problems on cylinder #2. Any additional thoughts or anything else I should try? Waiting to boroscope cylinder.
