First post - I have a Turbo Lance that is pretty new to me. The other day I started it and noticed the ammeter showed a 50 amp charge on initial startup on a cold Colorado day. By takeoff it had backed down to around 30-35 and I assumed it would continue to decrease after the battery charged back up. After 20 mins it was still sitting at 30 so I flew back and landed. I did a little troubleshooting and found that it showed 30 amp charge even with the master off and after 30 minutes running. The alternator puts out right at 14 volts when on and the battery voltage is @12.2 volts with the alternator off. Any thoughts? Bad battery cell?
