GTN650 + GTX45 + iPad WITHOUT flightstream

I am purchasing a 6/300. It has a GTN 650 and a GTX 45. However I do not believe it has a flight stream installed. I have read about difficulties with getting the ADSB in to connect to the iPad from the GTX 45 since it is communicating with the GTN 650 and the Bluetooth is therefore turned off. Can the GTN without flight stream connect to the iPad utilizing the GTX 45 Bluetooth? If so, how do I turn on that setting
