I loaded up my database updates at home on my Garmin GPS175's SD card and took it with me to load before I went out for some T&Gs the other day.
When I attempted to load them up, the GPS175 acted like there were no updates loaded on the card and when I selected "show all", it indicated that my database files were not "unlocked for this device".
So, after some poking around, I discovered than my GPS175 now has a different system ID# than it did when I last updated it in September.
I have no idea how this is possible and I cannot load the files in this state. There is no clear option to change this number in any of the menus and the device works the same as it has since it was installed (other than the databases now being expired).
Garmin has not responded to my support requests.
Ideas?

Additionally - does anyone know where the GPS175 would acquire its TAT value?
I have a GAD13 on the CAN buss for OAT, but there is no indication in the menus that I can find for the TAT parameter.

TIA!
