So A friend is looking at a plane that has a GNS430, and asked about the radio.,.. So, I see that it is upgradable to WAAS, but can it also be connected to a tablet to drive Garmin Pilot on a larger screen to be easer to see??...

And to meet the 2020 change, would only the transponder need to be changed to one that works with the GNS430WAAS unit to be ADS-B compliant??..

Thanks,,,
