Did anyone use the Garmin trim switch?

From what I understand, it is a simple toggle switch. I am contemplating using my factory trim switch, but also thinking about a suitable replacement. That Piper switch is $1400 if it decides to go south. I’d rather consider a robust replacement now and have some replacement options.

Thoughts, ideas for a trim switch, and a picture of the Garmin switch that is included please!

Thanks,
Dave
