Garmin Pilot Synthetic vision

I got to play with the new Garmin synthetic vision option while sitting on a Southwest flight yesterday. It was better than I expected frankly. It did a good job of depicting the terrain I could see out the window, and the obstructions visible. Below is a screenshot I took when we were on final approach to the runway at KSMF.
