I am about to start working on my instrument rating and have some questions about my equipment. I have a Cherokee 180 that has a Garmin 150 moving map GPS...my aircraft is IFR certified but how do I know if the GPS I currently have is workable for IFR?

Where can I find out more about the IFR certification? Is it listed somewhere in my paperwork?

Enjoy reading and learning more on this board...thanks much...
