Has anyone installed a Garmin Heated Pitot Tube on a Cherokee, and where did you install it.

The reason I am asking, for some time I was wanting a Heated Pitot Tube on my Cherokee 140, and looking at the Garmin AOA system might be a easy fix.

Some time back I converted from the old pitot tube system to a Heated blade style P/n: 69041-05, but the heating elements were missing, but I kept the static ports in of the back fuselage.

If I would install new heating elements, it would cost around $400, but that could be funds placed against a AOA system with a heated Pitot mast.

Just thinking out loud
