I recently installed a G5 HSI in our Comanche. We have a GTN 750 that is driving the G5. Today I did my first practice approaches using this setup. The first thing that I noticed is that I did not have a glideslope. The approach was a LPV approach. Even if is was a LNAV approach, my old 530 would give vertical guidance for "Information Only" purposes. Does the 750 / G5 not do this?
Secondly, every approach I ended up to the left of the runway about 1/2 mile. The 750 indicated correctly but the G5 indicated that I was on course with no deviation.
Any ideas on these problems?
